ReplyDeleteAs a full time doctoral student, I know all about the financial burden of books! My last set for just 2 classes was more than $500...rentals certainly are the better way to go.

Renting save lots of money if and only if you don’t miss the return deadline. For popular titles, a used book can at times be cheaper even than renting. You also have the option of then re-selling – but that also requires some discipline
